Hi, I'm Edith

It's so nice to meet you

I'm a Filipina American photographer based in NYC with a deep appreciation for the way people love each other — loudly, quietly, across cultures, in ways that don't always translate but always mean something.

My love for photography grew out of a love for travel. Shooting strangers on streets in Havana, quiet moments in rural Japan, life unfolding in places where I didn't speak the language — it taught me how to observe without interfering, and how to find meaning in moments I wasn't expecting. That's the same instinct I bring to your wedding day.

I work in a way that's intentional but unobtrusive. I don't do stiff posing or manufactured moments. Instead, I create space for your day to unfold and stay close enough to catch it when it does. The glance between a parent and their child right before the ceremony. The way your best friend laughs when she doesn't know anyone's watching. Those are the ones I'm always looking for.

I'm especially drawn to couples navigating something layered — two families, two cultures, two different visions of what a wedding could be. Your celebration doesn't have to look like anyone else's. It just has to feel like you.

When I'm not shooting, you'll find me hunting through thrift stores, practicing pottery, or planning my next solo trip somewhere I've never been. I have a soft spot for nostalgia — which probably explains a lot about my photography.
