forget what you think wedding photos are supposed to look like.
However you're celebrating —
your way, your rules.
Blending traditions. Breaking them. Starting new ones. All of it.
your only job is to show up and have the best day of your life.
i'll handle the rest.
Hi, I'm Edith, a NYC-based documentary wedding photographer who believes the best photos happen when no one's posing for them. I'm drawn to the in-between moments, the quiet ones, the chaotic ones, the ones you didn't know were happening. My job is to pay close attention, so that years from now, your photos feel less like a record of what happened and more like how it actually felt.
I especially love working with couples who are doing it their own way — blending cultures, breaking traditions, or simply refusing to fit a mold.
There aren’t enough words to describe how I feel about Edith and her work! Everyone in my family loved the photos and loved her presence at our intimate gathering (so much so that my dad actually thought she was one of my friends—that’s how friendly and integrated she was!). Edith we are so beyond grateful for you!
She allowed me to enjoy my time with our guests and still get a bunch of beautiful pictures. It was so fun to see all the candid photos Edith captured... of not just us but our guests. Would hire her again in a heart beat.
All the photos are simply a work of art, every shot is filled with emotions and capture the vibe of the day perfectly. Every time we go over our photos, now for over the hundredth time, we are filled with joy.
We were drawn to her relaxed and calming approach... her non-fussy, journalistic photography style, and just an overall sense that she understood and shared our creative vision. On our wedding day, she exuded all this and more.
